Jaime Page Feat. Dark Universe – Dark Universe Remaster

The debut solo album that launched my solo musical journey into the stratosphere and back again. The songs on Dark Universe were a culmination of many ideas that had been waiting for a release. It kicks in with Deepest Black, taking you on a dive into, er, the black! Next up is XXX27 which pounds along in perpetual, ethereal motion. Letting Go is a blatant tug at your heartstrings, inexorably dragging you into the light.

Dark Universe introduces you to my dark place. I am sure we all have them and go there once in a while. This is a song that runs very deep and dives right into the pain, joyously of course!

Dark Universe is completed by two lighter, poppier tunes that explore melody as a power force rather than the bludgeon for which I am known and love. It is interesting that when I tend to write, I write in pairs, and these two are a match. Deepest Black and Dark Universe were a couple, and XXX27 and Letting Go fallen from the same tree.
